Days Between Dates Calculator
Count the days between two dates, including weeks, months, business days and weekends, or add and subtract days from a date to find a deadline.
Count days, weeks or business days
Pick a start and end date to see the exact number of days between them, the same span in weeks and days or years, months and days, and how many of those days fall on weekdays. By default the end date is not counted (October 23 to October 24 is 1 day). Choose “include end date” when you count both days, for example the length of a vacation or a hotel stay.
Add or subtract days
Need a deadline 30, 60 or 90 days from today? Enter the number of days and the calculator shows the date before and after. This is handy for return policies, notice periods, payment terms (net 30), warranty periods and legal deadlines.
Business days and holidays
Business days count Monday to Friday. Statutory holidays are not removed automatically because they vary by province. Subtract them yourself: in 2026, federal statutory holidays include New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day (for federal workplaces), Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
How many days until…
Set today as the start date and the event as the end date to count down to Christmas, a wedding, a due date or the end of the school year.
