Canada uses metric officially but imperial in daily life: feet for height, pounds at the deli, Fahrenheit for ovens. Convert anything in one place.

Temperature
°F = °C x 9/5 + 32, and °C = (°F – 32) x 5/9. Handy reference points: 0 °C = 32 °F (freezing), 20 °C = 68 °F (room temperature), 37 °C = 98.6 °F (body temperature), 180 °C = 356 °F (baking).
Imperial vs. US units
Be careful with volume: an imperial gallon (4.546 L) is about 20% larger than a US gallon (3.785 L), and fluid ounces differ slightly too. Most recipes and products sold in Canada today use US or metric measures.
